Just sold my 2015 JKU Hard Rock, in anticipation of getting a 392! I've been a member of another Wrangler forum for a few years, but this one seems like it gets a lot more traffic on the JL side, so![]()

Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.!Hi, I'm Chris. I just picked up a 2024 Rubicon about 2 weeks ago. I had a 85 CJ7 which I did a frame off restoration on back in 2006. Soon after someone decided they wanted to relieve me of it, loaded it onto a trailer & drove away.
I use to wrench on 4g63's for a few years after that but never got back into another Jeep until recently. Glad to be back.
So far I've just added some cosmetic items here & there on the inside. A S&B CAI with the hood scoop/ram air option, & a Rough Country bumper. I just picked up one of those Badland winches tonight which Ill probably be wiring up tomorrow. This wont be a mall crawler, don't worry. Joined a local 4x4 group so hopefully she will be gettin' muddy soon.
Ill add some pics of Rubi-Roo soon. Nice meeting ya'll!
Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.!hello all!
On the left is my 2021 Gladiator, sitting very dirty from too much highway travel. And on the right this 2020 2dr soft top yellow Birb followed me home. It wasn't planned, it just sorta happened. Love it or hate it I've been in love with the yellow Wranglers for a while. 2Dr Sport, devoid of every option possible except AC and a very annoying radio.
Now to find some wheels and tires!

It's here!!!!!!Jeep Wave to all! I'm Lori from the Missouri Ozarks and have a new black 2024 JLU Sport S 6-speed (Of course!!!) on order through the dealership where I work part-time as a driver. I LOVE convertibles (I also have a 2013 VW Beetle TDI 6-speed convertible), but I went with the hardtop/Sunrider option so I can have an enclosed trunk space that's more practical to access, as well as leather to keep clean more easily. I went with aftermarket DeeZee running boards, and I'll be having heated seats added locally before it gets too terribly cold. I also ordered the tow package. And green....there will be LOTS of green flair....
The primary reason that I was able to do this is because I've been responsible for my mom ever since my stepdad passed away in February. She has numerous health challenges so we make a lot of trips to the VA. She has an easier time climbing into a truck than getting down into a car, but Pa's truck and ours are both huge and exhausting to deal with, along with her wheelchair, walker, etc. so we've decided to sell one of them and get a Wrangler; I really need something bigger than a car, but smaller than a truck. Bonus: I can take the electric cooler to Costco a lot easier than in my Bug, and I can haul my motorcycles with the Jeep a lot easier, too!!!
I had a 1974 CJ5 years ago (I'll dig out a picture when I get a minute) that I only kept for six months. It was lifted and had no steps so I had a hard time getting in and out of it in a dress and still looking like a lady, it had indoor shag carpet on the floor that ended up getting left out in the rain too often ( I went through A LOT of Lysol), and it sucked gas like you wouldn't believe (Well, actually this group probably would!!) I've driven the JL's at work and they are MUCH more civilized than they used to be so I'm super excited to finally be getting my own!!!
We have a VIN! Estimated delivery is October 14. I was dismayed to read that Wrangler production has shut down due to supply chain issues with wiring harnesses. Hopefully my Wrangler will be home soon!!!![]()

Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.!Ahoy mateys, I'm Eli from the boonies of northern UT. I've been in a stock Rubicon pickup / 35" since 2020, but happy to say I switched to a '22 2-door Rubicon. (really happy to find one with 4.88's from the factory!) I've already read a bunch of your guys' input on setup questions of mine, so thanks for chiming in, even you stubborn bastards. I hope to share valuable info from experiences of mine, but not claiming to be the wheeling expert by any means.
If you want to know anything about enginnering alloys, carbon fiber, downhill biking, or big mtn skiing, maybe I could offer expertise in those areas.
cheers!
