Welcome and awesome choice of color.
Thanks, amigo! We all really love the color, but I can't take credit for it as it just fortuitously turned out that way. It was the only JLU I could find that had everything I wanted and nothing I didn't want!

Hello All!
I'd like to start my first post by saying thank you to everyone for all of the great information on this site! I do wish I would have found it (looked) before buying my new Jeep. This is my third Jeep over many years, 1997, 2005 and now 2018 Sahara JLU. I've never done much to my prior Jeeps before, just added tires and a Nerf bar? I've read many educational threads on here already, and have learned some with much more to learn. I'm working on building the JLU a little. I've installed locking hood latches, non-OEM locking gas cap, trailer hitch and plug and play trailer wiring harness, and lastly a dash cam. Also, I just received the 9500lb Rugged Ridge Nautic winch and Barricade Adventure HD bumper. I didn't notice while ordering that the bumper fogs are for direct hookup for the OEM LED fogs...I don't have LED fogs and I'm having a hard time finding an affordable option for plug n play. Does anyone have any ideas, would be much appreciated if someone knows of something affordable and IN Stock that fits! I also have coming the 285/75/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers and XD Monster II wheels (-12 offset). I'll probably go with the Mopar 2" lift kit sometime down the road, but have some learning to do about straightening the driveline, seems to me I read something on here about that.
Thanks again,
Mark

Hello everyone, My name is Moe. I’m from the Detroit area. Just picked up a JLU Rubicon. My family and I absolutely love it thus far!! (1st jeep) Ive already taken it out wheeling a few times and I’m absolutely hooked!! Just ordered a Mopar 2” lift. Also in the market for some new tires. I have a heavy Autobody background and do most my own body/appearance mods. Lots of information here Can’t wait to get dirty

Hi Moe, I'm a newbe here, but saw your post and wanted to welcome you! I too am considering the Mopar 2" lift kit, but need to learn a little about what tracking, or driveline, adjustments/components are needed. Ive not been able to take my Jeep off road yet, but cant wait! Congratulations on your Rubicon!

Hello Mark, everything I have researched has led me to believe that with the 2” Mopar. You won’t need any additional components. Now I am learning a ton everyday and could very much be incorrect. Here’s to a new 4x4 journey

Hi All... First post, here, and first time Wrangler owner. Back when I was going-on 16 years old, my dream car was a white/tan top Jeep Wrangler. That got vetoed by my parents because they were - wait for it - $16k, and that was too much money for a kid’s first car!

While I can’t disagree with them on the finance side of things, now that I’m an adult, I’ve always had a soft spot for Wranglers since those days. Fast-forward a little over 20 years, and I am now the proud owner of a 2018 JLU Sahara in Mojito over black leather. It’s pretty much fully loaded, in terms of option groups, though I did have to take what was available on the lot. I got the color-matched hardtop, where I would’ve ordered the dual-top group, and I took the leather seats when I probably would’ve ordered black cloth. That said, the soft top can be added down the line, and I can always add seat covers if the black leather proves to be too hot on these summer days...

Hi Aaron, I too have just joined the forum, but I wanted to welcome you. Nice looking Jeep! I do believe there is something a little special about something when we want it for a length of time, work towards it, and finally get it. I hope you have lots of fun with it!

Hi - I'm a first-time Jeep owner as of July 5. :)
I've been casually interested for years, ridden in a couple with friends, but finally started doing serious research a few months ago. My wife finally made me get away from my computer screen - I had learned all I was going to learn without driving one, and went and test drove. I was hooked when I got The Wave from a passing stranger.

I've been lurking here, and soaking in a lot of information so thought I'd actually join so here I am.

Anyone in Western Washington, especially Snohomish County - give me a wave!

Hey Jeepers-
I'm a new/old member.
Last week we upgraded my wife's '12 JKU to a JLU Rubicon and can't believe how awesome it is.
I also have a '97 TJ project that my son and I are working on for him when he can drive.

I've been watching a ton of Jeep videos on U-tube and have the itch to head out west. Heading to Gatlinburg in a few weeks to explore the Smokys. That will have to be good enough for this year. Jeep Wrangler JL Introductions & Welcome Thread đź‘‹ staceytoledo-cro

Hi guys! Just joined the Jeep family with a new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I'm so stoked and a little overwhelmed with everything you can customize. Can't wait to get involved with this group and learn about this new lifestyle.

I too am new here and to Jeep. Got my first 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport on June 19th. I have never been happier. I have wanted one for several years now and finally just did it. I dreamed about a purple one and had every intention of getting a purple one but saw the Ocean Blue and ended up bringing it home. It actually looks purple when sun hits it just right and from certain angles. I have not been off road yet but would love to although I am not sure I even can with the tires that are on mine. I am just hanging on here trying to learn all I can and take in the most info possible. I will be attending my first Jeep Jam in a few weeks here in Wilmington, Ohio...can't wait!! Will have to post pictures of my baby later as I am at work and on a company computer.

My family owned a new V8 CJ-7 when I was in high school and a V8 Scrambler when I was in college. I enjoyed both and off-roaded both at the coast.

Over the years, I have owned many other 4x4s including an H1 Hummer (yes, a real Hummer, not that H2,3 Chevy stuff). I just now picked up a new Rubicon JL Unlimited and look forward to enjoying it as well. It will make a nice companion to my Adventure motorcycle. I think my wife has other ideas on who will own and drive this one though...LOL.
