Hello everyone, first time Jeep owner. Picked up a JLU 2 days ago and I'm geeking out on it. My previous car was (and I'm not kidding) a miata, so this is a whole new community of car people that I'm excited to join.

Traded in my 2016 RAM 1500 so the wife could have a new JLU in Snazzberry with the power top. I also traded my JL last January, so we now have a really nice pair of Jeeps!

First time Jeep owner from Atlanta, GA. I bought a 2019 Rubicon 2.0L in March this year and absolutley love this thing. I offroad regularly and have two Badge of Honor trails under my belt so far. Here's what it looked like when i bought vs how it looks now.

OK, so I've been lurking on this site for the past 2 years and decided it's time to finally join. I've had hot rods and big trucks my whole life, but I'm new to Jeeps. I just never even considered one before. My daughter has wanted a Wrangler for as long as I can remember, and about 2 years ago, when she was 15, I started looking for one for her. I test drove a '17 JK with 35's and a manual transmission and really liked it and considered buying it for myself. I went home and took the wife back to the dealer for a test ride (she grew up with Jeeps) and she hated it. She hated the manual transmission and thought a 4 door would be more practical for us. We left the dealer and went 2 miles up the road to the dealer's new car lot and I bought a new '18 JLU in Mojito! To say I got hooked would be an understatement. A person I work with explained Jeep stands for Just Empty Every Pocket and DAMN, he couldn't have been more right.

Just got the wife a Mojave this weekend. The Ocean Blue JLU is my daughter's.

I just want to say thank you to all of the members on this site! It has been a HUGE help learning about Jeeps and helping me build mine.

Joined this forum several months ago but am a long time Jeep guy.
Bought my first jeep back in the 80s. In 93 I bought a great 2 door Sahara 5 speed 4.0, soft top. I was going through a bad divorce and that jeep was my salvation. Drove it until 2000 when I bought another 2 door Sahara hard top. Another great jeep I drove for 11 years at which time I bought a JKU Sahara. Drove that one until the 2020 JLUR came to the house.

My son has also had jeeps for years now and my brother drives a 1991 4 cylinder manual that he bought brand new and refuses to part with, it is still his daily driver. When friends talk of my family it's always the boys with the jeeps.

I have owned several other vehicles besides jeeps but I am in my jeep every day by choice, Jeeps are just like my favorite beer, I might try others but always go back to my favorite.

Welcome to all of you new to the jeep world, for me it has been a fabulous journey. I do about 90% of my own work and have had great fun both with MODs and Driving. Plan on having one till I just can't drive anymore

Hi All,

Chiming in here for the first time. Wanted to thank everyone for the useful information I've gathered over the last year or two lurking in the background. Decided to pull the trigger on a 2020 Sport Altitude Diesel. I particularly appreciate the info on the right dealers to work with, ended up going with Dennis Dillon in Idaho and got a great deal on it. None of the competition in the Seattle area came close, and got to take a snowy road trip back in my new jeep. This is my second Jeep (2004 WJ) and it's been a blast so far.

Best,
Dane

Hello all, new here. Been lurking for a little while. Order a 2 door on Oct 15th and got it Thursday Dec 10. Saturday went on my first club trail ride and had a blast. A pretty easy 3.0 trail, but did get my AZ pin stripping...so got that over with. A fun ride for sure. Little hick up with a upper oil pan leak, different thread, put that's taken care of. Looking forward to many more trail rides here (AZ) and up north (ID, MT, CO) during the summer. I couldn't get my tire pressure alert to come on, looked it up here in the forum and found out how to get it to turn on. Just the tip of the iceberg of knowledge here. Great forum, Jon

Hello all, I've been lurking on this forum for awhile, and have gotten information from it a lot. I just bought my second Jeep wrangler, a 2018 2DR JL. I previously had a 2015 2DR. JK and regretted trading it.

I currently have a 2021 Bronco reserved but will very most-likely be canceling.

I'm in Flowery Branch with some Jeep history. Ordered an 18 JLUR that's in the garage along side the 21 JL Sport S. I'll help if I can with specifics.

Howdy folks!

I'm currently negotiating with dealers in my area to see where I buy my Wrangler Rubicon - already have to say a big thank you to all the folks on the forums for responding to my questions! Can't wait until I can start posting my build and giving back to you fine folks.

Michael

PS then I can cancel my early Bronco reservation and get my vehicle in the Spring!
