Here to vent. Starting to dislike my wrangler. I’m on my 4th JL. Current Jeep is an automatic 2025 2.0L Willys XR 2-door. At 11k miles, This jeep feels like the king of intermittent issues. And we all know intermittent issues are quite difficult to prove at dealers. Here’s a long list of what I’m experiencing.
Every once in a long while, I’ll get a warning for auto emergency brake off.
A few times I’ve gotten an emergency brake alert and the jeep started braking on the highway, with nothing or no one in front of me.
I’ve gotten a a check engine light with p0017 and ESS unavailable. Cleared, came back. Cleared again, hasn’t come back yet.
I’ve gotten a check engine light along with service 4wd. I believe a transfer case code. Cleared, hasn’t returned yet.
Every once in a while, the 2H on my dash flickers
My alpine premium speakers sometimes tend to rattle with certain songs. Even at lower volume.
Sometimes at start up when I put it in drive, I get a big lurch forward. Doesn’t happen often, but enough to always be ready to brake harder.
Sometimes I get a loud pop when shifting out of park.
Sometimes, and very often, I get a jerk, pop and lurch forward going up from 1st to 2nd gear. And 2nd to 3rd gear at slower speeds.
Sometimes at slower speeds I get a tap or slap noise when taking my foot on and off the accelerator. my previous 2dr 24 Rubicon had the same issue.
A few other annoyances that I’ve learned to live with which I know are jeep things, the tailgate occasional rattle and my soft top rattles and bounces when it’s down.
None of those issues will get fixed at a dealer. Are some of them just minor electrical problems that I can fix myself? Probably. Should I have to do that with an almost brand new wrangler under warranty? Definitely not.
I dunno why I keep buying wranglers. They’re so problematic. I hear about a lot of other people’s issues. And recalls. I think this is my last one.

but if you've had any of these issue, and have gotten them resolved, let me know. id hate to have the jeep sit for days in a dealer, just to have them tell me they couldn't duplicate.

A thing to keep in mind on a JL, if the batteries are weak the JL will think random things are failing at random moments. ESS is the first to go, weak data from wheel speed sensors can cause Service 4WD, weird random codes get thrown that don't happen again. Can't say that's the root cause of everything but there are some common (and random) symptoms of that in your post.

OEM Jeep batteries suck. Nearly any aftermarket battery is better. If you bought it off the lot, who knows how long that crappy battery was sitting there parked and getting drained by the always-on electronics. It's possible to drive off the lot in a new Jeep with a really beat up battery. Some of the things you mentioned are a result of that.
