Not sure. I know several JK Unlimited owners who held out on the JL to wait for the Gladiator. I do think they'll sell enough of both to make it more than a great decision, but I'll be watching Wrangler sales when the Gladiator hits the market in numbers.

You know I guess it depends on the location. I can see more being sold out west than here in Florida

Since I don’t keep my vehicles for long, I have been keeping an eye on production numbers for the wrangler and wondering how it will impact its resale value. In the past, like the article states, the wrangler holds a crazy resale value, but I’m no longer sure about that.

If they have access then they should ship them down to Florida dealerships.

Basically, in Florida, if you don’t own a Jeep you’re a D-bag..

There are literally thousands of them on the streets and beaches here.

The comment in the article about the surplus affecting residuals is bogus because there are tons of them here in Florida and always has been and the residuals have always been extremely high. An 8 year old Wrangler in good condition here will typically go for 20k+ easily.

There is little doubt they are over building, our little dealer in a town of 40,000 has 38 0f these Wranglers sitting on there lot and more in a field across the street from the dealer. They never had more than 8 or so JK's.

I'd realistically consider the Gladiator, but the bed is just not long enough...

I drove by a Jeep dealership that is near my house yesterday and saw a lot they use to store new inventory, it was filled with JL's. At one time they had three JL's at most.

I don't think the Gladiator will hurt the sales of the JL because they will be too expensive.
