Yeah, from what I’ve gathered not all dealers can get the parts nor do they have the talent to do the install. A friend and I both ordered 4xe’s in July 2021, I got the trail cam and he didn’t, and he immediately regretted it once he saw mine. Took him over a year to find a dealer who could source the parts and install, and they charged him $1700+tax.

He contemplated just ordering a new 4xe with the trail cam, but didn’t want to sit on an order for another long period. Honestly, it probably would’ve been easier to just do that! Lol
I would absolutely love to have a factory one... not for $1700 though. I have read the gladiator forum extensively on adding it. I am still a little iffy on what are the right parts for my specific model year. There seemed to be a change over between 2020 & 2021 for the modules. I would also like to know where exactly the modules are located in the wrangler. Not having it I am unsure of the actual physical location of it and I missed it somewhere (for the wrangler) or something. So, just as a stop gap I would have to do a tazer style until it becomes more affordable.

Also it has lines that move with the steering to show about where your tire will go. Turns out it's pretty useful, especially when cresting a hill.
This 1000%. I acknowledge it's pretty gimmicky, until this situation. Then it's amazing.
