I don't have pics or access to the Jeep right now. But I did not pull the grill or the air box. I pulled the inner fender out a bit to maneuver and zip to the wire to some existing wires. Then used a pull wire from the top of engine right behind the air box to fish the wire through.

I didn’t remove the grill, I also didn’t remove or move the air box. I was able to get all the cables up where they needed to go with a fish tape. You might try that first?

Well, everything went well besides the lower skid plate mounts. There just isn't enough thread engagement with the added brackets. The bolts stripped out, there's no way they could take the 40fbt there supposed to be torque to. Im going to by a thread chaser and longer bolts tomorrow. Has anyone replaced the rivnuts ? I re ally dont want to try to drill them out if they cant be saved. Any ideas ?

I found with a flexible claw grabber tool inserted from the top between the battery and airbox,I was able to grab the cables and pull them up alongside the fender liner and could then run them beside the battery and connect them. This eliminated the need to remove the grill or airbox.

I saw your other thread about the nut. I suspected a longer bolt may solve it and chasing the threads.

Yes, easy to do. Drill them out, bang the head off with a chisel or grind it down, install the new ones and tighten.

Just make sure to not drill out the hex hole or the new one won't fit in right.
