Got a new Garmin dash cam mini 2 for Christmas. Was wondering what everybody else did for the install? The wire hanging down isn't a huge concern but if anybody has some tips/tricks on hiding the wire or hard wiring it I'd be most appreciative.

Check out this thread, posts from me and @Thane:

I installed with the park mode cable that is sold separately and hardwires in the footwell. In that same thread @Thane describes a good install with the usb.

I have a Garmin 66W? I installed it right by the rear view mirror. As luck would have it, I also was installing a hard top conversion kit so I had to loosen the trim around the top of the windshield anyway to get those clamps on. After running the cable across the top trim panel toward the driver side I ran the cable down the A-pillar by loosening the 2 bolts that hold that trim with the grab handle on. Then run it under the panel where the canbus is and out the hole in the engine bay. Ran the wire across the top of the back of the engine bay and plugged into the fuse box with yellow to F97 and red to F52. You can use the screw on the side to ground it. I'll take a pic if you want but it was really easy to thread it through the attachments across the top of the firewall. Works like a charm and looks great.
