Inexpensive shocks?

Are any of the inexpensive shocks on the market for $200-250 a set (Rancho 5000, Rough Country, Skyjacker black max etc) any good? I’m looking to put a 2 inch spacer lift on my wife’s JLU and wondering if I should get shock extensions and keep the stock shocks or if any of the listed shocks would be an upgrade over stock

If you want to replace them again in a year or 2 then yes they are good. ?

Just get the spacer lift that comes with extensions and use your shocks, this way your guaranteed the exact same ride you have now. Spacers do not change spring rate, meaning it won’t ride stiffer just because you raised it. If you change tires, then that’s another story.
