Inconspicuous Front Plate

So I hate front plates. I found that the bolts for the skid plate line up with the plate holes. This is my solution until I can get it registered in TN where we don’t have front plates.

The other option, you could also have purchased a Maximus-3 Stealth mount, they are a little pricey for what they are but work very well and has wing nuts at the top so you can easily pull your front plate if you are a rock crawler without damaging it.

Another great DIY! That is pretty much the concept and attachment point of the one I mentioned but much more cost effective. You could even get a double stud and wing nut the front and it would be removable as well..

hmm maybe I will do this for my wifes rig when she upgrades her bumper.

I dunno. I think they'd let us slide. I haven't put my front plate on since I bought in early Dec. I've been carrying the front plate between the seats for a few months.

I'm installing a RH 4x4 Patriot aluminum bumper today. So, I have to figure a plan.

Nice. .., but aren't you worried about tearing it off when off-road?

I was originally looking at mounting it with some kind of brackets. To avoid it getting ripped off I used a rubber mallet to form it to the curve of the skid plate.
