I've owned Wranglers since the 3.8 minivan engine. There was only one choice (and...it wasn't good). The differentiator was the platform: Sport, Sahara, Rubicon - and that's how the owners "self-identified". Even when the 2.0T was introduced the emphasis was still on the platform. But, now, not so much.
Have you noticed that given the new choices (Ecodiesel, 392. 4xe) the emphasis has shifted to the engine chosen versus the model?
