There are some conflicts between manuals and the website regarding this particular setup:

From the FAQ page of the Support section https://www.jackery.com/pages/faq:

I have a Jackery 300 I've used for pass-through charging after moving the relevant fuse to make the rear 12v outlet hot only when the engine is running. Seems to work fine with my Dometic and Iceco fridges. The Jackery is charged only when the engine is on, but the charging current likely also runs "some" of the fridge load. When the engine is off, of course the Jackery runs the fridge off of Jackery battery alone.

I'm not an electrical engineer, but I suspect that any reduction in Jackery battery life would be a function of charging current, simultaneous discharge current, temperature, etc. So it would be hard to come up with a definitive statement beyond what Jackery said above.
can you post photos how you did this please? Trying to duplicate your setup.

I have a jackery 500 and used to power an 18 quart dometic. It lasted little more than a day.
I did pass through charging, but maybe just a few hours at most.

I now use an ecoflow delta 2, and powering a 35 quart alpicool taw35, 2.5 days I would say. I have a 120w panel on my roofrack, so it's on 24 hours a day, everyday, always topped off.
I love not being relying on the jeep battery whatsoever.

Fuse 45. Move it from 43 to 45. Check your manual.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
I run my fridge directly off the jeep through a dedicated arb wiring kit straight to the battery. I have never had a problem. We have been on two plus week trips and the jeep has sat for several days with out starting and it's been fine. I find this the easiest and least trouble free.
I also run a direct arb wiring for my fridge and the fridge is in the Jeep running for 6 to 8 months at a time with zero issues. The fridge should turn itself off before draining the battery. Mine has three setting for how low it will drain the battery. My fridge will run about three days before it will turn itself off so the Jeep will still start.

My fridge and Jeep has been doing this for about 5 years like this on extended trips that last multiple months. I see zero reasons for a dual battery set up. I do have a Jackery 1000 that I take with me, but I have never used it to power the fridge while out. I mainly use the jacker to make coffee.

I guess what I am trying to say, is don't overthink it. Buy a decent fridge that will monitor your battery and is efficient in operations and plug it into the Jeep and stop worrying. After all in the Alaska pic, I am about 35 miles up in the mountains camping from the nearest rode and probably 70 miles from the closest town.

I do have to ask though, do you have the tow package on your Jeep? I ask because the Jeep comes with a big alternator..... 240amp
