I don't care for the dark driver side front corner when night trail riding. Actually, anytime driving at night and making a sharp turn. I have had vehicles in the past that lit up the corner when you activated a turn signal.

Anyway, I have added the KC A-Pillar light brackets to my JLUR but have not picked out the lights yet. My goal is to flood the corner area with light and they would be switched, when needed, by one of my auxiliary switches. The last thing you want to happen when traveling a shelf road after dark is the driver side steering tire to climb the wall, all because it was too dark to see it clearly. And, of course, it would be great to see more area to the sides when trailing after dark or in dim light.

I have plenty of driving lights with my front LED's and the fog lamps too. I don't really want a lot of hood glare and my plan would be to rotate the lights at maybe 30 to 45 degrees from the front to highlight the side corners. So a flood type light would make the most sense to me (I think).

Any recommendations for a good looking quality light that would bolt up well to that bracket? Horizontal flat surface with a large through hole in the KC bracket.

Thanks!

I use the Baja designs S2 pros angled out about 45 degrees and a little down, wide/cornering lenses, they throw light from where my front lights/fogs cut off all the way to the back door about.

Wow...was all set to order those Squadron Sport Pro. 6-10 week lead time? I guess they are popular!
Those Squadron Sports throw nice light in the ditches. I have mine angled out some and a little down. I think they are a great option for the money.

I put the Squadron Pros on my wife's JLUR for night runs. Work great and cast a lot of light, on the KC mounts.

I run KC C3 floods on the pillars 45 degrees out. They throw 90 degrees and it does a decent job of staying off the hood.

Any recommendation for a light that doesn't mount on the A-pillar, could be wired to the turn signal, and mounts on fender or front bumper?

You can probably find them in stock outside of BD’s website. There are a few forum sponsors you can try.

I have BD LP4's mounted on cowl light brackets. They work well and complement a set of LP6's on the front bumper. Both sets of lights have side lighting that broadens the beam of light. And BD makes a block off plate that can be added to the inside of the cowl lights, so you don't have glare on the hood. I have the cowl lights rotated outward about 20 degrees, and combined with the side lighting it gives a broad light beam that really improves night vision to the side of the Jeep.

There are many good name brand lights on the market. I went with Diode dynamics SS3 round lights.

I liked the build quality and they do things a little different from others. Take a look at the heat sink and lens construction on the video. Depending on light output you will pay between $200 to $500 for the pair with everything to install.

I put them on the steel front bumper to keep the glare off the hood while driving (didn’t want them on the A pillar). Very easy install to the aux switch.

Hey @HDSlowride,
The lead time we have on our site is generic but most lights are in stock. I can look into the exact lights you are interested in if you would like and help you out with the order.
Best,
Brandon

I should have dug deeper into our sponsor availability. I ordered the KC Hilites 3 inch C-series, C3, 3 inch LED cube light. Ordered 2 weeks ago, no response to date on a ship date.
