Hello neighbor, I see you're in Albany. I am in Malta.
Nice! I’ve worked with Zappone, Armory, and Goldstein (as well as a side trip to Bennington to drive a manual trans Jeep).

Not sure where you’re ordering, but I got Goldstein in Latham down to 4% below invoice using the tread lightly affiliate code, no trade, and them just further discounting to be competitive against Koons and the one in Ohio. Told them I was willing to go 10 hours to save a couple grand and it worked. Let me know if you want a sales contact ;)

Not photoshopped (at least not privately, maybe Photo shopped professionally for the brochure). This photo is from the Mopar brochure for the Wrangler JL. I have one from the Chicago Auto Show.

Looks Great IMO. Interesting they paried it with the tan leather. I was going to order mine with black leather but might have to take a second look at the tan. If the Gray is as dark as photo's the tan might look very nice. Just don't know down the road how the tan will hold up and wear over the black. Dang decisions-decisions and I thought I was all set with my order.

Hey just curious what Zappone and Armory came back with %-wise. I planned on checking into them as well in the next couple of weeks. I was assuming I would have to go out of state to get a good deal since most of the upstate dealers are miserable to deal with. I will be ordering a loaded Rubicon.

I didn’t get to numbers with either. I got some sales kid at Armory that didn’t know anything about Jeeps, then the sales manager made a weak pass at finding me a JK when I was talking waiting for a JL.

Zappone I worked with Eric Roy, he’s new to the dealership but knows car sales and was very helpful, actively interested in details I knew about the JL (from these forums of course). I plan to send him my final build when I can settle between Sport and Rubicon so they can give a competitive bid.

Goldstein is two doors down from my office and offer free weekly car washes, so that plus 4% below is the current leader lol.

Thanks for the reply. You just saved me a ton of time. I work in Latham so trying to work something out with Goldstein might be a good option. Please post when and where you end up buying. I may ride your coattails and order at the same dealer. I am going to check into the dealer in Mass (Station) everyone keeps talking about as well.

I feel like I’m probably not the only one when saying this but... I wish I could just order Sting-Gray so at least I get in line for production.

I’ve been following this forum since last May and I’m ready to order but I’m still going to be slotted behind other orders just because my color isn’t available yet. I totally get the delay and reasoning behind it but I at least want to be in line to order.
It’s like standing on the outside of the concession line knowing something like “brisket nachos” is about to become available but yet I can’t enter the line until it’s ready to order and I would still have to wait behind the long line of those ordering hot dogs and hamburgers....

Alright rant over.
Waiting sucks but I know it’ll be worth it!

I had to get in line anyway, and ordered a billet. But I'll switch it up if/when sting is available or more information is out. If I had waited and found out I didn't like the color, I'd be pissed. My dealer is cool with me flip flopping even at the last minute, so I figured I have nothing to lose

I've heard Goldstein in Albany is excellent, Scott Ross is the sales person to contact. I have a trade, and hope to get a fair deal, like that 4% under Invoice, will see if they will put me in a JL

Just put a deal together with my local Jeep dealer. I had a trade to deal with so prefered to stay local. Now all I have to do is wait for Jeep to release Sting Gray. The manager was thinking a March release date. I can only hope because I hate waiting. But think it will be worth the wait, as from what I have seen Sting Gray has my name all over it, plus it'll look nice sitting next to my Cement TRD PRO 4Runner in the garage. Anyone else hearing any whispers on Sting Gray release date.

As posted in the Mojito post, I was told today by that both Mojito and Sting Grey should be avaliable to order March 1st. Here's also an official email they received, it just says March, but supposedly it's suppose to be the 1st.

Jeep Wrangler JL I give you Sting-Gray! 20180223_201823

3/1 is news to me. Sounds great, most sources said “mid” March. I guess we’ll see on Thursday. Also, it says TBD for the 2.0T...,weren’t guys already ordering these, if I’m not mistaken:whatsgoingon:

From what I was told by a different dealer is that they could select the 2.0 already. I remember reading somewhere that some dealerships open ordering for certain things before other dealerships. Not sure how true that is though...
