Seriously? You are worried that kids are going to watch their videos and then attempt to go run Chinaman Gulch, Holy Cross or some other trail n their parents Jeep? Or maybe it's that they will install skid plates and not wear eye protection. I'd say you are probably good to just stay in your safe space and leave Jeeping to the rest of us. I don't think you really get what it's about...

What I wish is that one of you really good Jeepers would make a video that teaches how to drive in these conditions. You know, what way not to turn your wheel when your almost ready to flip and stuff. Just some short tip videos.

I was at some pretty extreme angles and due to the great Metalcloak suspension and wide stance the jeep stayed upright.... this time.

Love the add-on at the end......”Can you remove the...”. LMFAO!

This! I have tried to find some good noob videos out there to slowly go over the basics of off roading but couldn’t find anything but people pushing products or just suggesting to join a club(I don’t doubt this is a huge help). I will never do the crazy stuff these guys do but would like an overview to help increase my comfort level. If you planned out a beginner off roading series starting at square 1 you could get a lot of hits.

That is amazing! Very well done video production. The amazing thing this looks to all be done using a phone.
Thanks.

Every litebrite says whaaahooo you have to take a drink.
Why not take a noob with you and ride shotgun giving them tips! If you want better ratings make it a nice female learning. TAI Mc comes to mind or many other members or even a good friend. A series would be great. Let us learn from them. You have lots of things you can use at your disposal like how to winch your Jeep (using the noob doing the work). Noob outlander trip. Just thinking.

That’s not something you can teach over the Internet. That beat learned on the trails. You have to be able to feel the jeep. Every situation is different. Only good rule of thumb I can give is always point your wheels down hill when going down something steep and never jab or slam the brakes.

It’s really hard to teach that in a video because videos never show the terrain app that well and every situation Offroad is different. I can see if there is something we can put together but idk how good it will be or how it will turn out but we can play with it

I understand where your coming from, I truly do but if you could place yourself in a noob’s position it would be very scary attempting some of the things you do! And let’s be honest, a noob should not be attempting some of these things, can you agree?
That being said there are many noob’s that always do what they should not be attempting and get very expensive consequences out of it.

This should not keep you from being able to help noob’s though! You proved that in you short advice you just gave.

So maybe a video on what not to do as a noob would work. A list of trails not to try or that you should not be on without a qualified trail rider!

Basically all we’re asking is if you could put stuff on video that would assist Jeepers in becoming good trail riders! Or better at least.

im more concerned about young people watching these videos and then going out and financing a $50k Jeep at 12% interest on an 8 year loan! :surprised: you guys should post a disclaimer or something lol

with these really tough trails, i would think there would be people out there and if they see someone (obvious) noob about to attempt to tackle an obstacle without a spotter then they would likely warn them. these aren't trails you stumble upon. im sure you'd have to google where to find them and then you will run across people on various sites saying what skill level it takes. these trails have been around forever and been wheeled on a million times by people. so there should be plenty of info out there on pretty much every trail. at some point people have to do some research for themselves before they go try something. and if they dont, well, darwinism at work. im a noob myself. i have taken my new JLU offroad once so far. on a beginner trail and the pucker factor was high! we had an instructor spotting us. no way id go out there without a spotter who knows what theyre doing. just common sense. some more advanced trails i looked up said dont even attempt this without at least 35" tires, skid plates and possibly lockers or a winch.

kind of like the Raptor owners who were out there jumping their trucks like they were stadium race trucks and ended up breaking their frames. you can only protect stupid people from themselves so much.

There are schools for that. Since this is clearly important to you then perhaps you should seek one out and enroll.
