I don't think the hyperflash is anything harmful, just annoying till you get used to it. The Tazer shouldn't affect headlights etc... but when you unmarry it the hyperflash will come back.

It is out. Use your auto update:

Yes it’s the latest update; 11.1.0 (if you run the auto-update now it’ll bring it to the new version)
Just go to LEDFrontTurn, set it to NO then to YES again and it’ll kill the bulb out warning and stop hyperflashing. Once set, you’ll have to sleep the Jeep then use both turn signals for at least 20 seconds each side before it learns that all’s ok again.
What do you mean by “sleep the Jeep”

I don't even remember writing that! :) Probably copy/pasted from the answer I got from Tazer. I reset the Tazer, then turned ignition off afterwards, and then did the next part.

Can someone please validate my understanding? If I have factory LED package, and aftermarket LED Tail lights, then using a Tazer to set the Jeep to "Standard" tail lights will eliminate the hyperflash/bulb-out warning. Correct? (Assuming the aftermarket tails have load resistors, which they do).

Solved!!

So, the LED package JL is not looking for the resistance of a bulb to determine if it is "burned out", because LED's have so little resistance. Instead the computer is looking for a special signal that is generated by the OEM light.
The good news is, Quake LED has figured it out and they have a solution available for us!
I have the Road Armor fender flares and they came with accent lights that are dual branded Road Armor powered by Quake LED.
It's a no cutting plug and play module that makes the computer happy :)
I can't tell what's inside because it's weather sealed with epoxy, but it works.
If I disconnect the Quake LED light I get hyperflash and the bulb burned out warning on the dash after about 20 seconds. Plug them back in and within the same amount of time the hyperflash is gone as well as the warning.

Do you have a part number? I haven't seen this adapter on their website. Thanks.

You’re going to have to take your JL to the dealer they need to put in that purchase code that only they can’t provide. I’m going Through the same experience right now as we speak. I got Led’s signal fender lights from the dealer they install Them already but are still working on that purchase code from engineering 3Days now it’s not a easy task. But very possible with them doing it. I chose not to splice any wires or add anything that didn’t come there. I prefer to have it work the way it supposed to. Good luck with that.
Did they ever figure out the code. I’m dealing with this now.

Resurrecting this old thread.
Anyone have a solution to the hyper flashing turn signal issue?

Ordered an obd 2 scan tool and connector cables and have ordered the JSCAN App for my phone. Will see if I can relearn the lights within the app. Dealer couldn't figure it out.

Hyperflashing of the turn signals themselves, or hyperflashing on the dash but the turn signals flash normally? If the turn signals flash normally but the dash indicators hyperflash you can use JSCAN to tell your Jeep not to monitor the turn signals. You will stop the dash hyperflashing but will lose the bulb out feature.

Turn signals hyper flash and the bulb out error on the dash comes up when the vehicle is turned on.
Figured I’d order a JSCAN to try a reprogram. Will use the JSCAN to update other nanny state programs too.

Benny helped me out on the codes that should be activated for the lights after swapping the flares. Big shout out to him. I gave him my VIN and he was able to trace the issue.
Next parts order going to him.
