Hydro assist, tapping oem box

Maybe my searching skills are failing me, but I can't find anyone tapping their JL steering box for hydro assist. Of course there is plenty of content for a JK box and I assume it's the same idea, but I'd like some level of confidence it'll work before I pull the thing apart.

I assume most people are replacing their aluminum boxes with the PSC box that's already ported, but mine is a 2021 so I should already have the non-aluminum version. I plan on installing the PSC 1.5" ram with some bolt on mounts from currie.

Does anyone have experience doing this on the JL?

I had ram ports added to my power steering gear by Lee Power Steering. They will weld AN ports and rebuilt your PS gear and serialize. I also, purchased a ram and filter from them. I have been running this since 2021.

The only rebuild kit I can find for the JL is 120 bucks which seems insane for some orings. Makes the 245 dollar rebuild fee from Lee look reasonable.
