I like the concept a lot. That said 350 miles EV range is more like 280 in the real world. That doesn’t work for remote travel....
That's what recharging stations are for. Hopefully, GM will get onboard with Electrify America to build out the network. In reality, even 280 miles is more than enough to get people back and forth to work daily for a week or more without charging. Hey, when you get home your "gas station" is in the garage.

This is way too rich for my blood, but when it's time to retire The Hulk and I still want to wheel, I'll get a BEV Wrangler any day of the week.

I'm afraid this thing is destined to be the next G-Wagon: an AWESOMELY capable off-roader that would be amazing on the trails, but based on the price they paid for it, no one will actually take it wheeling. Frankly I see that in many new Rubi's that are 1/2 the cost of this. Too bad, because I'd love to see either a G-Wagon or this new Hummer on a trail some day, but won't be happening.

To see GM back tackling the 4 wheel steering is pretty cool.

Had high hopes for the old Quadrasteer in the 2002-05 Silverado/Suburban line-up, but it never really went anywhere.

The new Hummer truck is amazing.
However, at $100k+, going to keep my H3T.

1 of the only 55 made.
Seriously? 55? Were any made with the front locker in 4:1 t-case?

At 5 tons + (if true) this monstrosity of an abortion would destroy trails, in a bad way, I hope they ban it's use offroad before we get yet more offroad areas closed to us.

That it is going to be in production, available to buy is fantastic. Maybe Jay Leno, or Arnold, will buy one, and put it to the test. In any case, the gloves are off, now the rest will be playing Catch Up.

About 2300 Hummer H3Ts were made.
About 55 Hummer H3Ts had a manual gear box (some argue there were 100 made).
Of the 55 Manual H3Ts, 9 had the adventure package
The adventure package had the 4-to-1 xfer case and lockers
There was one of the 9 was for sale earlier this month.

Well it safe to say our TJs JKs and JLs will still be on the road and trails long after the last E-Hummer has been recycled into house hold goods.

Want to take bets it is only in production for three years?
