How well does BLD (brake lock differential) really work?

‘24 JLUS(4dr Sahara in case I didn’t get that right) owner. I have open front and rear differentials with Brake Lock technology correct? Can I disable traction control so the engine power isn’t reduced while maintaining BLD functionality?

I believe BLD stays active even with traction control disabled when in 4H/4L. I don't think you can even disable it without unplugging a speed sensor or otherwise disabling the ABS system

It absolutely does. It's very evident if you use Speed Selec control in 4lo.
