Hi All - How does one go about removing the front two horns that are used to mount the steel skid plate under the airdam?

Id really love to remove the steel plate but I hate how the horns make the front end look.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Like Chocolate Thunder said, or 4” grinder with a cut off wheel. Both are good tools to own if you don’t have one. Or a friend or family member likely has one.

Am I dumb for thinking those are a good test for of anything behind will get hit next? If not, they do look a bit silly and would grind them off.

Use a Hacksaw.

Be a man.
Hacksaw, manly? HA! I had a bowl of nails for breakfast then walked outside and snapped them off with my barehands like a REAL man ?

I almost cut mine off after I deleted the sway bar edisconnect system, but ran out of playtime on that particular day. Glad that happened when the Warn winch and mounting plate showed up a few days later and I realized that the mounting plate ties into those horns for added structure. And yeah, now that the underside of the bumper is opened up, those horns are the only protection for not shearing the sway bar bushings off of the frame. Also, in my opinion, they really don't seem to stand out...
