How to I update the Uconnect 7" screen?

I've been having some Apple Car Play issues. While driving my Apple Carplay disconnects and my phone losses audio transmission to the Uconnect. I'm thinking that there my be an update for the Uconnect device has anybody updated this device yet and if so how?

Bluetooth is your best bet. Car play hasn't worked reliably in my Subaru, Honda or jeep. It is a Dumpster Fire.

There is a new software version (I think 1810.02) that is supposed to fix your problem but I think it is only available for dealers

@JeepCares if there is an update for the 7ā€ screen why would we have to go to the dealer for this, in my case I would have to drop it off in the morning and wait all day for them to do it when I could download to a flash drive and do it in my driveway

I personally think all Uconnect updates should be available for download

My UConnect thinks my Jeep is still in Toledo, I am in California. How do I fix this? Also, even though i have the clock set to use GPS time, it often shows me east coast time even with the Gps setting. Any idea how to fix this?

p.s. I did check to see if my uconnect needed an update and it said no.

I've got the exact same issues. Also, even when I set the clock manually, it eventually reverts to Eastern time. Also the compass is off by about 180 degrees.

Small issues but kind of annoying.

I'm also having this same exact problem. Was in Alabama last week, back at home in Michigan now and it still thinks I'm in AL. Clock is also wrong for me too.

Anyone find a fix for this yet?

The problem has been fixed by the dealer. I don't know what they did but my media player even remembers where it left off!
The TSB Update posted in another thread solved my issues as well. The clock and compass now work correctly.

I entered my VIN and UConnect said it has no updates. I am only trying to play music using the USB and play music from my iPhone (no Carplay) and although UConnect will play my music from the USB connection sometimes, when it doesn't feel like playing, it gives me an error that my device is not supported. Sometimes my music will play with the Bluetooth, but will switch to USB all by itself. I am not trying to have it prioritize my phone over the Sirius XM Radio either. I have an Apple iphone and currently running IOS 12.3.1 and UConnect App stays blank.

We can imagine why this may be frustrating. Have you had a chance to visit your dealer to have an inspection performed on your vehicle? You're welcome to send us a private message if you decide to go this route and we'll gladly assist you with that process.

I had the same problem until I change my GPS antenna to the factory GPS antenna and I had no problem after that
