Is the screen made of glass? What is the best thing to use to get the smudge off

I use a damp cloth and wipe dry. Haven't had any scratches, etc. this way. When I detail the interior, the detailer I use (Girot's) is safe for screens, so I clean it with that too.

Not sure what the screen is made of, but I personally wouldn't use a glass cleaner on it.

Just curious. The screen appears LCD and I went ahead to clean it with an LCD certified cleaner and it destroyed the screen. I’m so pissed I can’t believe this.
