How does the tan interior age?

I know many people don't like that Black & Tan edition but I am looking at that edition. Heading to dealer with four on his lot. It kind of has a dessert vibe to it.

Anyway, I don't know how long the tan cloth interior has been around but I worry how that will look in 3 years. Anyone have thoughts on the current tan heritage or its predecessor or other cars.

It is not a direct comparison for a JL wrangler, but the tan interior for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was 100% in great shape, no visible fading, cracking or discoloration. Also for my 2005 Ford Excursion the tan interior is also still in great shape, comes down to how you take care of your cars.

I don’t have tan cloth, but I’ve had mine with tan leather since June 2018 and it’s aged extremely well. First thing I did when I got home was put some leather protectant on.

Cloth will absorb much more, but as long as you’re careful, you should be fine.

I have tan interior cloth. It gets dirty easy as you might expect however I’d get it again because it looks 100900x better IMO than black. The interior of the JL is too damn dark without it.

I got the tan cloth because I plan on having the top down a lot in the summer, and I figured it would be cooler.

if the seats end up getting gross, I’m just going to buy some seat covers for them. There seem to be plenty of options out there.

I've got a 2020 JL, red exterior with the tan cloth seats, love the color combination. Figured they would be warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. First thing I did was treat them with Scotchguard to prevent any staining since they're so light. Thought if they don't hold up I would get seat covers

I have tan leather on my Jeep. I love it, and it’s easy to clean. This is what it looks like after almost two years. I will say that I haven’t cleaned it in a bit, as you’ll see a blue mark on the drivers seat from my jeans.
