Hi Benny,
I'm preparing to change transmission fluid on my '21 Rubicon 392 with the ZF 8HP75 transmission. I've seen some comments saying that the entire pan and filter assembly needs to be replaced and others saying just the filter. The 68362041AC parts diagram on the AllMoparParts site shows the below diagram (if I've got the correct PN selected): Can you confirm what part number(s) to order?
Thanks!
LF

Hi Benny,
I posted this question in the 3.6 forum but thought you might be able to help. I picked up an oil filter and now realize the part number doesn't match even though the callout on the box is the the same "MO-349".

Would you happen to know the difference between the 6819-1349WB and the 6819-1349AC oil filter? I saw it on your website but couldn't locate any fitment info. Also I wanted to make sure this is OK for the '24 3.6. Thanks for your help!

Hi Tim,

The filter is superseded by the pan & filter assembly. The part # 68362041AC is correct for your application.

I will send you a code you can use,
- Benny

Hi,
The current part number is 68191349AC which is the same for all 3.6 JL's. When I search 68191349WB in mopar's system it is recognized but is not a serviceable item.

Can you post pics of what you have

That is strange but I believe the filter is identical and the part number/box may have been for global distribution rather than just for the U.S market. Here is another similar thread
Thanks again for checking! Makes me feel better at least, lol. I didnt realize until afterwards that the last 2 letters were different, just saw the MO-349 callout and thought I was good to go!

Hi Benny,

I’m looking at getting a set of these (https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/68322798aa.html)
for my 2020 Sport that I’m adding some Rubicon take off springs to. I know you need longer LCAs to keep the castor in a good angle. Do you know how high of a lift I can go with these before I need longer control arms again?

Hey Austin,
I know you can go 2" for sure with no issues. For anything more I would suggest seeing what other owners are using with aftermarket lifts. If you need a coupon code let me know!

A coupon code would be dope but not necessary if you don’t want, thank you

Has the zinc shims for the door hinges been released for aftermarket sales?
Hi Tom,
I do not see any and I dont believe there will be. I think that the supplier of the hinges has these shims pre-installed onto the hinges. As per the TSB it requires a complete hinge swap. I did some reading online and found this product that may be an option https://www.heskins.us/products/corrosion-protection-tape
