yup what he said. I believe only one is functional. Has to be used with the S&B air intake I believe.

Guess I am failing to see how this works with your stock air box.

No they both work without the filter. and are easy install. I never even removed the insulation.

Just provides more air to the engine bay..... I bought mine off of here to try them out. I didn't notice a great difference however I have heard also on here some people noticed a big difference in temps.

Nah not a snap in a bolt in and you do have to cut the insulation and they do provide more air flow to the engine bay.

I installed mine over the summer to add to my existing S&B CAI. Personally, I noticed a difference with the butt dyno and the engine bay temp was cooler - you can feel the heat escaping, once you're parked, out the driver side vent.

They're hard, and I would think paintable with the right prep.

Thanks... they are Method 106 Beadlocks and my buddy powder coated them for me... I like them a lot..... the same as @Rangemaster has on his ride
