So curious about after thoughts for people who've opened the vents on the Rubicon hood.
Not being a ass, but if you haven't made the mod, not looking for thoughts and opinions. If you've made the mod, do you notice a difference, any issues, would you do it again, etc?
I did it to my JK in 2013 and noticed a difference when off-roading. Before the mod when in low and pushing up long, rough hills the temp would rise to about 3/4 and the fans would scream the whole way. After the mod I'd only get a slight rise and fans wouldn't come on as much going up the same hill in similar weather.
Pictures are appreciated. If I can convince Household 06 (Military jargon for the one in charge) to let me make the mod on Rhino, I'll do a video on it to include the opening of the vent and modification of the heat shield so you don't have to leave it off.
