Hope this is the right place:
Years ago I added a power tailgate lock on my Ram, tapped into the power door lock circuit. Half-assed search on Google didn't show much in the way of power hood locks for Wranglers. I was thinking it should be possible, maybe not on the side latches, but sort of in the same way the aftermarket center grille manual lock works. ( a power actuated pin that holds the center hood latch to the left so it can't(easily) be pushed right to release the hood unless the doors are in an unlocked state)

Anybody have anything?

I also use the Lasfit product (Gen 1) and am very satisfied with it.

Text in Lasfit link says: NOT compatible with the manual transmission. The Installation FAQ Q8:
Jeep Wrangler JL Hood latches IMG_4567

I guess the firewall penetrations are different between AT & MT.

Mines an AT, but I read that, found it interesting as well. The lock is electric/pneumatic. As far as function, shoudn't matter at all. My guess is where they have you mount the control box on an AT is not available on the MT, maybe some other device is mounted in the location on a MT, preventing easy access to the release mechanism in the event of a dead battery.

That was my thought exactly. It has to be one of the other: firewall penetration or mounting location.
I just went out and took a look at my 2018 MT. It appears the firewall grommet they use to run the cables/lines through that attach to the controller is where I have a hydraulic fixture attached that has a line to the brake fluid reservoir. Presumably, for the cultch master cylinder reservoir. I can’t see another passage on the firewall that could be used (without a lot of work). I don’t know what on an AT vehicle uses that penetration for.

ATs use that for running things through the firewall. If you have a manual and that hole is blocked then reconsider the mounting location and/or air line / wire harness extensions.
My philosophy is "It's a Jeep thing, you gotta make it fit!"
Get creative!

(I just installed a Genesis Gen 3 dual battery controller for Diesel Wrangler under the hood of my 392. )

I wonder if the passenger's side grommet could be used on the Lasfit hood lock, like shown here for passing rear hitch wiring from the battery under the hood to the rear. (I don't know.)

Perhaps not, as the dual air hoses that make the Lasfit device work are considerable thicker than the electrical cables used in the hitch install, combined with the fact that putting pressure on the sides a electrical cable isn't apt to impede the flow of electronics any where near pinching an air hose in such a tight space might prevent the flow of air and effect this hood lock device's operation.
