Hood Insulation - Dynamat Hoodliner - Will it help?

I have a 2022 Wrangler JL 4 door. Will using a Dynamat Hoodliner help with Sound insulation?. It has the basic Hood insulation pad it came with. Can I use it in addition to the factory Hood pad? I assume I will have o keep the drains free. Is air suppose to flow through it? I do not have vents.

What motor do you have? I cant hear my motor on the highway over the wind noise. Lol. I feel like you're fixing a problem that isn't there. Even with my AMFIB, all I ever hear, even during a cold start, is my 2.0 sounding like a diesel (that goes away quickly) and the intake noise (which, I really like) and that's with passenger window open.

I have a 2.0 I4 DOHC Turbo. I am just trying to reduce the noise in general. I have put in a Headliner and SoundSkins in the doors and floor.

Ya, same one I have. I really don't notice engine noise that bad after it warms up. Maybe someone else will pipe up with more input.
I know there are definitely dudes in here that completely removed all insulation from hood as well.
