@Mx5red and I are tackling Holcomb Creek on Sunday if anyone wants to join.

Weather looks cold but rain should be gone by Sunday.

Unless I can find some diff skids and get them installed Sat in probably out. Hell even if I do find some I'm less than 50% as I start travel on Monda and will be gone next week and the week after.

Such an awesome day! I made it through without having to winch or stack rocks on the trail. I say "on the trail" because the only time we had to stack rocks was when I got my diff stuck on a boulder on the paved road before we even entered the gatekeeper. I'll let @Mx5red post the blackmail photo of that. Super embarrassing lol ?‍♀

that thing has a license plate?? that vehicle is beyond non-street legal lmao!
You would think so!.. I looked into what would go into registering a kit car like a cobra, and as long as you have the lights and jump through all the paperwork hoops you can register them. Lot of dmv hassle, though.
I mean, his buggy is not any different than a cobra kit, just taller. Just as dangerous?

Yeah overall it wasn't so bad damage wise. I did way worse on Gold Mountain a few weeks ago. I am thinking about getting a set of these control arm bracket skids though. Those seem to be the only things that got a bit scraped up on Holcomb.
