Holcomb Creek - Sept 9th or 16th

Heartbreak looks like fun. I want to get my Holcomb badge first though!

I did think about trying to go up there Labor Day weekend but now I'm supersitious that I can't go on a wheeling trip the weekend before a roadtrip. It's only asking for trouble.

id say do both in one day. Start on Holcomb to beat the traffic then finish off the day with a nice easy drive through Gold Mtn.

That never seems to work out lol. Plus @GMONEY wants to hit up Gold Mountain first before attempting Holcomb which I get cause I did the same thing.

Personally I'd stick with your plan to do Gold Mountain first. I think if I had gone straight to John Bull or Holcomb I'd probably be swearing off wheeling forever lol. Gotta work up to it.
