This question is for High-Tide owners... Does your High-Tide sit 3/4" to 1" higher on the front drivers side than the passenger side? My wife's sits higher on the Drivers front and that is with less than 1/4 tank of gas.
I am measuring eye to eye on the shock mount bolts, so I know the measurements are correct.
I am attempting to take the lean out. Currently I have 1.5" spacers on the Front Passenger side and 1" spacer on the driver side and I am still about 3/8" higher on the drivers side. Springs are set properly in the seats.
I was thinking of putting 2" on the passenger side and 1"on the driver's side, but that seems excessive. Will the gas make that much of a difference?Thoughts?

Which eye is the different one numerically by your measurement?

The passanger side front is lower numerically than the driver's front, by at least 3/4". And this is with less than 1/4 tank of gas. With a full tank it would probably be more.
My gladiator stits higher on the drives side tham the passenger side, but only by 3/8". But the 3/4" or more on my wife's high tide seems expensive.
Note the back measures exactly the same on both sides...

Are you only installing spacers to accommodate the lean?
I am trying to also take the rake out also. Originality I was going to install 1" spacers on the front and 0.5" spacers on the rear (slight lift). So as I was taking it apart I started measuring things and tbat is when I found out how off it is.
I am also installing my Mojave shocks on it, but that is a whole different discussion. I bought the correct (12mm bolt) OEM bushings for the Mojave shocks...

Ok so let’s start with putting each front side with equal spacers firstly. Let’s try and take any and all extra math variables out of the issue/equation.

Once that is situated then let’s regroup and start from a different measurement approach that can tell us if it’s either a sagging spring or a sagging shock or if it’s a side to side weight difference. Also keep in mind that the Mojave Front shocks are side dependent, there was a big write up on the gladiator forums of this leading to from valving tune differences due to the design of the Mojave’s side to side weight differences in the front end.

I’ll also go measure my stock high tide just to get a reading on my possible side height differences, if there’s any. To get a semi baseline.

So I originally put 1.5" spacers on both sides. That is where I measured the 3/4" to 7/8" difference. This was both with and without the shocks in it. I them tried to correct it by removing the 0.5" spacer from the drivers side. I am using the Teraflex from spacers.
So what is the best way to measure it? The high tide is totally stock, nothing added yet. A little less than 1/4 tank of gas. I have it up on jackstands on the axle tubes with the tires off. I guess I could use gas cans and go get gas and fill the tank if we need measurements with a full tank.
As far as the Mojave shocks go, I know I will probably have to revalve them, but that is no big deal, I use to be a motocross suspension tuner...

Almost forgot to mention, I loosened up all the control arms and trck bar to make sure they weren't binding and throwing my numbers off...

Go ahead and put on the factory shocks high tide shocks and even out both sides equally with the same spacers then we can start from there.

Wo wo wo, loosening all those items you just mentioned will greatly affect this issue. Even though you loosened them because of the first issue of the lean. It’s crazy how many variables come into play with all of this. But we need to try to get back to square one to really understand what was causing the initial lean.

I measured this at every stage, meaning I measured it before I took it apart (on the jackstands, wheels off), then I took the shocks off and measured it, then I loosened the control arms and track bar and measured it. Then I put the 1.5" spacers in both sides and measured it, then I took the one 0.5" spacer out of the drivers side and measured it. That was my last measurement. I also bounced the front end as best as I could by pushing on the front bumper in between each step.
The reason I measured it at every stage is because I was trying to figure out part is making it lean. At all stages the amount of lean remained the same. I did also measure it with my wife sitting in the driver's seat (it is her jeep), but it didn't even make 1/16" difference, but she only weighs 100lbs. I have not measured it with more gas in it.

The Jeep only has 14k miles on it. Not sure if that would make a difference. I am new to JLU, I have a gladiator.

where are you measuring? are the places you are measuring the same distance to frame points as each other? ie shock mounts might be 1/2 inch off, and you really are level. Not familiar with hitide, do you have 3.6 e torque?
