I’m wondering if the Road Shocks cause gmrs interference as compared to other budget friendly brands?
Please bare with me on this because I am a little stupid and I was very lucky in achieving only a high school diploma, are you talking about a Brand that is named Road Shock, or the item that is called a shock absorber/damper for the road only, or the vibrations and undulations in the road surface?

Although, I am very familiar and well verse with GMRS and two-way radios since I have well over 60 radio devices I use on GMRS and Business Radio Service VHF & UHF freqs and I have a GMRS repeater on the air, I just not understsnding how any interference, physical, EMI, or RFI, can cause or has any nexus with a road shock absorber or anything related to the subject name/term.

I think we need more details and a good problem statement on what is the real problem. Please enlighten us. Thanks

harbor freight has lights called road shocks so I am guessing he is talking about the lights causing issues with the gmrs.

Ok, I stand informed now. Thanks

On my 23 Wrangler Rubi, I have my VHF antenna in front of my Driver's Side Ditch Light and on weak signals they are affected by Rigid lights but not my UHF or GMRS freqs. I have my UHF antenna on my rear glass.

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, Road Shock is a brand of light sold at Harbor freight.

Cheap lights (HF, Amazon, etc) are notorious for causing feedback on radios, while more premium brands commonly do not have this effect.

You could say the Road Shock are middle of the pack regarding quality, so i was looking for commented from Jeepers that have installed them, before I made a purchase.

Happy Thanksgiving
