Id much rather keep my Wrangler sport! I do like it though. The hard to looks a little funny to me though and the tailgate too. Ultimately it's a Jeep copy cat with ford engines and ifs. Also the 2 which is more like an LJ looks the best. My wife will definitely be test driving both the Wrangler 2dr and the bronco 2dr in a couple of years when she is up for a new vehicle.

I think it looks good. I think the 2 door looks really good. Im intrigued. Waiting to see the tow ratings. If they offer a 5.0, look out!

Right now theres a lot of hype since it is new. give it some time.

Jeep has given a lot of excuses for things like mirrors being on the doors, no modular hardtop, low tow rating for the 2D, etc... but it has remained true to its origins.

I love my wrangler sport S, it is the best enthusiast off road vehicle out there. It has great ground clearance stock and I can disconnect the sway bar or install quick disconnects since it has a SFA. Once I install my rubi suspension ill improve it even more, for very very cheap. In the near future if I need it I can install ARB lockers. And it is all relatively easy/cheap.

My point is. You can learn and grow with a wrangler, and build it to your needs for any budget. Not so sure you could say that about the bronco. If you dont get the fancy IFS sway disconnect feature from factory and want it later, not sure how easy that would be. swapping suspensions from trims? good luck with that. And same goes with the Rubicon really. Put a lift kit on it and 35s for not that much more and you are already way above the Bronco upper trim.

A Jeep is a Jeep. I hope Jeep stays true to its origins.

Towing is rated for 3500# in either 2 or 4 door.

I thought it might be more like 5000# for the 4 door, considering it's based on the Ranger and has the same engine/ transmission combo, which goes for 7500#. Obviously the wheelbase and suspension were a limiting factor.

Something else to remember. it compares with the JL. both models compete. The JL is from 2018, this thing is 2021, and you can still make the JL way more capable. Jeep is still ahead in terms of offroading imo.

Good points. Jeep has a long history of DIY type owners that are extensively supported by the aftermarket manufacturers.

Bronco owners will be starting with zero aftermarket support. So, the extensive options from Ford are a good move IMO. I think most of us were surprised by how far Ford went on serious off-road features. I know I was expecting a more soccer mom targetted vehicle. It seems they targetted the Rubicon buyers that do use them off-road. At least that's the way the video came across to me. Ford exceeded my low expectations by a lot. Good for Ford. I want them to be successful. I'd hate to see them go under. They are part of the American heritage. They weren't the inventors of many things, but they made them availble to the common people. They developed the first monolithic V-8 block that is the foundation design feature still used today.

I like what I have seen.

The marketing has been on point so far. Great presentation. There is no doubt that this is designed to take market share from Jeep Wranglers.

Time will tell if the product is as good as the marketing.
