Curious if anyone has installed the Mopar 392? Screenshot attached, know turbo kits are out there producing good HP but wondering how difficult the install is. Looks like Mopar even recommends what parts are needed to do the swap - looks relatively plug and play?

lol, I wouldn't go so far as to say "Plug and Play" but I do know there are some custom shops that do Hemi swaps in Jeeps. You'd undoubtedly need a new transmission to go with it to handle the extra torque, I know in the Ram 1500 the Hemi uses a different 8 speed than the 3.6 does.

sounds like the turbo kit may be a good option

familiar with them - but over time from what i've seen re: pricing for their existing builds can only imagine what they would charge for a swap
Yeah, they get pricy. Turbo might be on the more affordable side.

CJ Offroad is doing a video series on a 5.7 used engine swap on a JL if you havent caught it yet. I believe they are on episode 2.
They are using Dakota Customs adapter kit, looks pricey just for the swap kit

I was always told that to do a Hemi swap into a Wrangler and to do it properly, you're looking at close to $30,000 total parts + labor when the project is all done.

could give shophemi (Arrington Engines) a shout for quotes. I used them for cam/head swaps back when I was playing with Ram RT trucks. Big facility and labor pricing was decent.

It’ll be big bucks cause the JL is such a new platform. Give it a yr or two and it’ll be much more reasonable. $13k for the swap KIT, no engine, is ridiculous.
