Did they just add this line in the notes?

"Models with factory steel front bumper will require the purchase of aftermarket fog lights (not included)"
Either way, I even purchased aftermarket fogs and they don’t fit either.

Well obviously not all aftermarket fogs.

There are fogs in all shapes and sizes.

just ball park the size when you order a fog, screw a block of pvc/abs/oak to the existing mount, screw fog light to block.

There are millions of people that have installed fog lights that don’t even have designated mounting locations. You have a big hole in the bumper and a mounting surface. You can make it work.

I see the issue now, is there an OEM LED lamp that has those three posts? I only see them on halogens.

Apparently not.

I'd suggest retrofitting some high powered driving lights in there from Baja Designs, but that may be beyond his capabilities. So, probably the answer here is to return the bumper if possible. If not, take it to someone that can retrofit an aftermarket light in there.

Your condescension is much appreciated. Thanks for your input.

Here's a simple aftermarket "fog light". Installation configuration is pretty obvious. These U shaped brackets are pretty much the standard in aftermarket lights. Take some measurements of your bumper and the brackets that are welded in and find some lights that meet your driving needs and desires, while still fitting what you have. If you want more than can fit into that opening and/or the brackets, modify the bumper.

This is probably my only option. I have a set of Dynamic Diode SS3 that I have ordered for this since the factory led wouldn’t work. However the main problem is how awkward the mounting location is due to how specific it’s laid out.

I guess it comes across as idle whining, but that’s not my intent. Just an odd little situation.

My plan today is to try to make a drop bracket to connect the top two holes in the bumper location to the flat mount on the aftermarket fog.

Any recommendation on the material I should get from the hardware store? (No experience with this). Bumper is aluminum btw if that changes anything.

I would buy some cheap halogen take off housings, swap the bulb for an LED and put them in the bumper. You can still buy the better lights, just mount them on the outside of the bumper. More lights always looks better on a jeep.

Sounds like a nice learning opportunity for you
You have a Jeep.... not a Prius....
Buy some tools and get under the Jeep and figure out what you need to do to mount your factory LED fog lights and then work at it until you've accomplished this task properly.
You may need a grinder, a nice drill and real bits, some pliers and vice grips, perhaps a bench vice on your work station, real screwdrivers, wrenches and sockets, some bolts, nuts, screws, possibly spare metal and some paint and.. whatevers... perhaps a second or third set of eyes from a handy neighbor (not the guy who's entire tool set consists of 3 hammers and a leaf blower)
You're on this forum so I'll bet you're handier than you think and can do this task ?
You don't need snap-on tools but also don't get dollar general tools or the wang-foos and you'll do great.
It will be much easier than it seems right now - promise !

When I purchased my new bumper, the company stated that OEM LED fog lights would fit perfectly. What I didn't know is that the stock LED fog lights on my Willys (Sport S) have a different housing than the Rubicon LED fog lights and would not bolt into the bumper. I ended up purchasing a set of the Rubicon LED's and they fit just fine. You might need to look at the other Mopar fog light options.

If you decide to go aftermarket, I would suggest looking at Clearwater lights. I have the Darla model on my motorcycle and they are super bright. I run them at 20% power because they are blinding to oncoming traffic. They are expensive, but are made in the USA and they work with the CANBUS system (at least on the BMW's). Good luck!

Well, it shows in the instructions how to remove the fog lights and install them in the above instructions. I know the fog lights for a plastic bumper are different than a steel bumper so I'm not sure if you're going from steel or plastic and that's the issue?
The fog lights in the instructions are halogen that have been removed from their brackets. I have LED factory and aftermarket that are completely different.

I am going to make a bracket today of some sort.

Thanks, unfortunately I have exhausted the mopar options.

And I am doubting that their CS will contact me regarding a solution.
