I’m jealous- it was about 2 years before my first one, maybe I should put a bunch of red or orange covers on everything to clash with my blue Jeep ?
Yup a week and a day into owning this jeep and the waterfowl couldn't stay away. Orange wouldn't be bad, that was my other choice prior to doing the red covers. Maybe it's the magic duck recipe ?

Actually for mine it was dirt, it was muddy and filthy when I got it, go figure ?

That's a big selling point, my first jeep was a 97 TJ and I swear it looked better and gained 20 hp on a bad day when it was muddy. Went through a weird phase and went to the dark side when I traded it for a mustang. Now the pavement pony is gone and I'm back in a jeep. But damn do I miss that jeep... Never got a duck though ?

You must be a punk kid ?, my first (Dad’s) is a 3A, I passed it down, my son’s FIL is fixing it up for Dad’s great grandkids that never saw him. Alas, my son’s FIL had a stroke, recovering, but the project is on hold ( oldest is driving, 2’nd oldest next year )
Edit- no response, you might have to ask for the curtain rods pic yourself. ?
it took me 58 years to get my first duck :crying:

Are you trying to make other people happy or yourself? At the end of the day, it’s your Jeep, so do what makes you happy.

That being said, I believe you have too many red plastic things for my taste. If you had just the side vents as red for instance, I believe that would look better IMO.

I agree with you, to each their own. I see you have a vision for your jeep and can see that you did what you did to yours for its own practical reasons. Do you have any other pics of your set up?
I have a good habit of deleting all my photos on my phone. I'll grab you some after I get back to the warehouse later this afternoon.

I wouldn't read it all, but you could peruse it...

My build thread ;)

Sometimes less is more. It’s a bit much IMO. However it’s your Jeep, so play on playa!

The bright saturated red does not go with that bikini blue. This is the sort of thing high school kids do with their first car and ruin it. It looks bad. If it makes you happy though, do it, but that's my unfiltered opinion.

Hey- @Tredsdert , the man wants to see the curtain rods, (they were my favorite). Hopefully he will respond :like:
Short-lived but came out pretty cool.

@El Churro It should be in my build thread.

I still have them in my garage. Not sure how they're going to apply to my build at this moment. I do have an idea of how to apply them, but it'll be a couple years because it involves getting my Safari hardtop which is a long ways away at this point. So you probably won't see those back on the Wrangler for at least 5 years. ?

Clown? Maybe, but it does give me Dairy Queen ice cream cake vibes...

Seriously - if you like it do as needed. Advice though: please the wife ;)

I always liked the blue/black or blue/titanium look the most. Blue and red/orange just doesn’t look right. Red wheels included - and that would be one expensive mistake to fix if you end up not liking them.

I’m on the other end however, de-badging emblems, covers and stickers. I really prefer the clean look. Less is more.

Here is my hydro blue JT with titanium wheels. I need to get updated pics soon ?.
