Help me settle a debate

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here.
So recently took ownership of a 2024 4xe in Bikini blue. Me being me I had a vision for the jeep from day one. I immediately started making small modifications to the vehicle. Just this weekend I decided to add red accents to the hinges, handles, and a few other bits to go along with the red seat and steering wheel cover i added on day one. I personally love it, however the better half isn't a fan and thinks it looks like a clown car... What do you guys think?

I see shit like this all the time. I'm not a fan of it. I think it looks dumb. But to each their own.

I'm sure plenty of people think I'm a psychopath and have ruined my Wrangler.

Like anything, do what you want, screw everyone else! That's my take on it.

Realistically speaking they are just more expensive stickers. I wouldn't call overpriced stickers a modification.

Now if you told us you took off all the hinges and handles and painted them yourself and then put them back on, at least you'd have my respect. Otherwise you're not really modifying your vehicle. Stickers aren't a modification. They're just stickers.

Honestly I got the plastic covers as a place holder, I want to paint the vehicle however with just getting into a new vehicle and immediately doing a new paint job isn't quite feasible.

I feel ya on that one. It took me about 2 years to tear down my vehicle to where I could start building it up.

On the side note, mostly to gloat, here's some of my more favorite modifications:

CUSTOM INTERIOR ???

DIY third brake light and DIY spare tire delete

Took the base of the front bumper and turned it into my rear bumper, added reflectors to keep it legal

DIY Bed liner painted hood after I dented it in twice ?

And my personal favorite, steel hood rounds for attaching magnetic things to the aluminum hood! ?

My wife says my Jeep looks like 40 years old, and the other day at a red light some guy complimented me on my "JK" ??

I’m jealous- it was about 2 years before my first one for my 21, maybe I should put a bunch of red or orange covers on everything to clash with my blue Jeep ?

I agree with you, to each their own. I see you have a vision for your jeep and can see that you did what you did to yours for its own practical reasons. Do you have any other pics of your set up?

Did you give your wife the curtain rods back ? I don’t see their pic ?
