Hi everyone!
I saw a few threads on here of this happening but have yet to find a thread where there was a solution!
We have a 2018 JL, and a few weeks ago the CEL popped up while driving! The P0507 code showed up. We took it to a mechanic he cleared it and said it was because our oil was too high.
The second time, I had parked the car by the side of the road as a friend and I searched for a restaurant to eat. All of a sudden all the lights on my dashboard lit up for a second then disappeared. The only lights left were the CEL and the automatic on/off light showing as an error.
We took it to a Jeep dealership and they said that I needed to update the software since there was recent software pertaining to the P0507 code.
I thought everything was finally fixed, but today it popped up again! I was on the phone in my Jeep, parked, when the Automatic on/off error popped up and a second later the CEL.
Do you guys have any idea what it could be? Or have you experienced this and found a fix? I am taking it to the dealership on Thursday, they asked to have it dropped up hopefully to take a thorough look at it.
If it means anything, each time it happened that I witnessed, there is a correlation between the Automatic on/off and the CEL. I also do notice the engine being noisier than usual but my RPM gage wasn't really moving.
Any help would be appreciated! My heart sunk when I saw the CEL this morning! I can't believe I'm running into so many problems when it is only 11k miles
