Hey y'all, so bit of background here i took my 2014 jeep wrangler with 79,500 miles on it (fully stock) to a mechanic shop out in Atherton back in the start of December and was told all was fine other than the oil filter housing beginning to become warped and that my tires need to be replaced.
so now, once the car is warmed up i have this situation where the car ticks almost like the torque belt or some moving piece is rubbing or hitting something (it's not a fast-ticking noise but it keeps up the same pattern but even when i rev up my speed)
I've also started to notice that when I'm in idle either when letting the car warm up or at a stop light and the cars RPMs have gone down between 1 & 0 the car begins to lightly rumble, sometimes a little harder of a rumble but is not a constant rumble its more of a couple of second rumble then stops then does it again until i get going and drive off, it doesn't seem to affect my speed or take off or even oil life or any coolant of the sort but it does raise some red flags in my head cause this could be a multitude of things but my air intake filter is clean and all my seals for the air intake are on and tightened in ( at least the ones that are on top that i can see.
let me know if any of y'all have delt with anything like this before or have come across it before and have seen it handled id love any input or solutions on how to get this fixed so i can get some new tires going and a happier car when i go camping!
extra information: car's automatic & manual transfer case fluid have been changed out back at 75k miles but the front and rear dif fluid has not been changed out yet, my axil shaft on the rear passenger side had given me some small complications back during the harsh storms of 2 years ago in California bay area where once checked seemed to be that one of the bearings had come slightly loose and was very slowly leaking fluid and had blocked one of my magnetic sensers when some of the fluid had gotten on it, also i put premium gas in my car at all times and tend to stick to chevron and ARCO gas as well
thanks you guys cant wait to hear what you got for me.
