Hi, I've written a few comments here about the whistle noise coming from the drivers side windshield way low down on my new Rubicon JL 2018. After a week in the dealership (Ive only driven my Jeep once before it ended up in the service department), I am now being told that the whistle is coming from where the door and windshield frame meets and they don't know how to correct it. There is not an adjustment on the door nor the frame around the windshield. They say its the way the wind rolls over the A post and crosses the gap and that the drivers side gap is not as flush as the passenger side. If they tape the door shut along the A post, the whistle quits but obviously then you can't get into the Jeep from the drivers side. Please help..anybody have the solution to this.

Just wondering if you found out why there a antifreeze smell or leak . I just picked up JLUR and leaking antifreeze with only 12 miles on the odometer I'm not happy right now believe me .
Sorry #1 for not getting back to you sooner. They were unable to find any coolant leaks or any issues with the radiator or any hose. All levels checked out ok as well. I just topped 2000 miles and haven’t had any other occurrences like the one I had in the second day of ownership. Kinda hope it was just a “breaking in” smell.
Best wishes going forward. These machines are fun...if they run like they’re supposed to!!

@Jeep Cares. I bought my JL in July and it came with a 1 year Sirius subscription. I just received notification that my subscription is expiring in March. That's 4 months earlier than it should have. My salesman no longer works for the dealership I purchased from and I'm getting nowhere speaking to others. Can you help?

Thanks for reaching out - are you referring to SiriusXM Satellite radio, or do you mean the SiriusXM Guardian services which connect your vehicle to the app (remote start, vehicle finder, etc.)? Please send us a private message so we can look into it.

Don’t let it go! Did you sign up for Jeep Wave? Get in touch with them or someone with Jeep and have them document it properly. They will also help you schedule a service and check in with the dealership while it’s in there. You will get answers that way. Don’t even talk to the dealership if they’re screwing you around. Let Jeep do the work for you.
But as always, be nice. You’ll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar

2018 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara
It was suggested that I duplicate my original post here for @JeepCares

I took delivery of a new black Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with black leather interior at night. I noticed at home in daylight the driver's seat was sliced, so I made an appointment to have the vehicle repaired under warranty. Not wanting to be in possession of the vehicle any longer than necessary (e.g. not wanting to be assigned blame for the damage), I brought the Jeep back to the dealer prior to the appointment for the service advisor to photograph.

The warranty claim submitted by the dealership was denied by Jeep as they don't see this as being a defect from the factory. My response is that I live in Florida, took delivery wearing a t-shirt, and don't wear jewelry. I don't own pets. It's highly unlikely I'd cause this type of damage on the ride home from the dealership. After the advice of some on this forum, I've inspected the other seats for similar damage. I found scuffs on TOP of the passenger seat in an area that's not a seating surface.

Clearly there was some rough handling at the factory or during transport. We all know people do stupid things to abuse their vehicles, but that is certainly not the case in this situation. The Jeep is still on the same tank of gas from the dealer. It's a $53.5K fully optioned Sahara. Do the right thing.

That's B.S call Jeep and ask who the vendor is and contact them about the problem . As far as the Dealer I would never purchase another vehicle from them .I just got my19 Rubi 12 miles on it and leaking antifreeze working for GM I've had 25 brand new vehicles and not a problem . SMH

Here's some pictures I took yesterday. I was bored and pulled into a Jeep dealer in Punta Gorda Florida. I opened up the doors of a brand new 2019 JLUR and look at the seats! I would never take this car unless they replaced them all.

Does anyone know what KZT Status is? I'm not sure but I think I remember someone saying KZT stood for 'finished & being shipped' to the dealer if this is correct about how long does it normally take them to get to Florida?
if anyone has any info or knowledge on this thanks.....
