Heater Core?

Can anyone confirm if the 4xE has a traditional heater core, and/or explain how the cabin is heated in colder climates? I understand there is an electric element but I'm curious if they've eliminated a traditional heater core all together.

I was wondering the same thing, but to my understanding there is a small electric resistive heating element and also a conventional heater core.....though I can not confirm this.
