Head Gasket Failure

My 2018 was leaking oil. Has 58,000 miles on it and 30 days out of warranty. Has a head gasket failure. They are recommending getting the timing chain and tensioner replaced since they are already in there. Thoughts??

That’s a standard recommendation. I would definitely do it while they’re in there.

Yea, my valve cover gasket was leaking. Had it replaced 2 weeks ago. Jeep should have a recall.

I have an extended warranty. They were giving me shit that there were no codes so they didn't have to replace. Mechanic had them come out and see it was stretched out and they finally agreed to replace.

I just noticed ours has started leaking. 5.3 years old, 59900 miles. I did buy an extended warranty, hopefully that covers it.

I had an extended warranty. I used that. Cost me $100.00 bucks. I want good will from them for my corrosion lol....

My shops been getting repairs good willed 10k+ miles outside of powertrain near daily it seems. Should be able to get it covered no issue.
