Good catch.

Why the LED Lights are not an option in the Sport S makes no sense.

They were on the JKs too for the past year or two. Not aluminum, but painted plastic to look like it.

I was passed by a JL yesterday evening on the Merritt Parkway in CT. I saw the led headlights and fender lights approaching and knew what it was. Was a Rubi in silver with hardtop with the high fenders too. As it passed I could see the dash quite well and the huge screen glowing. Had Michigan plates, so I presume an FCA JL.

I live in a cold part of the country, which is mostly not too fun, but the upside is that manufacturers of cars cold weather test their vehicles here... including the JL. They were out again this morning, testing what I wouldn't know since the JL has been released... the 2.0? Usually they're out with four different four doors.
The blurry red one (sorry) is a beautiful Sahara.

Are you in Bemidji? Is that the Headwaters Science Center I see in the background? I wish they were closer to the Twin Cities.

Today I spotted my first JL out in the wild and not on a lot. It was a Silver Rubicon outside Eats & Treats.

My co worker thought I was nuts for getting excited. I can see his point of view:)

Anyone seen a base Sport model (steel wheels, crank windows, etc..) in the wild yet? Seems like I see more Rubicons and Sahara than Sports.

Yet but I’ll keep you posted. Keep in mind they are producing certain trims for now until completely ramped up.

I don't recall ever seeing a base Sport JKU on dealer lots. Seems that's most def a customer order. No dealer wants to have a base sport sitting on their lot, costing them $$ daily (interest, upkeep, taking the space of a Jeep that will sell, etc.)

Now, I know that there are a FEW who want the base Sport only. But from a business stand point, base models of ANY vehicle hardly ever sell and dealers won't stock them if they don't need to. Or they will only stock one so that their special $99/ month for 2 month lease offers to get Joe Public on the lot are legit. Even more so for the Wrangler. That's also why most dealers won't have any Wranglers with half doors in stock and only one or two Sport S Wranglers with a stick - if any!

Very good point.

They are going to order the trim levels and options that are in most demand.
