Hardwire and radar detector mount

Figured out a way to hardwire a radar detector and mount to the rearview mirror. On the 2022’s with the JEE205 style mirror, I was able to tap in to 12v power using a BlendMount MTX-1010 cable, although I feel a slightly longer cable would have been better. I pulled power from the connector in the back of the rearview mirror housing behind the plastic cover. This was on mirrors used on 2018-2025 Jeeps PN 68297611ab. I was also able to mount to the mirror using a SDSACZMU bracket purchased through Amazon. Attached are photos of how I went about it, hope they are helpful.

Your a life saver. I have been a blend mount user for almost 20 years but there doesn't fit this mirror. This mount solves the problem it appears by mounting to back of the stem. How is it holding up ?

Same here. I just ordered a similar mount on Amazon. Radar Mount is the brand. The bracket for the Valentine One Gen 1 is much better compared to the brand posted by the OP. I did purchase some smaller M4 .7 x 40 mm socket cap screws from Home Depot as the included long cap screws touched the back of the rear view mirror. Surprisingly good quality and solid! Fraction of the price of Blend Mount!
