It would be cheaper, and look better just to get it painted in matte white.

The standard black hardtop has a texture to the finish. The paint on it is single stage matte black.

If you want a smooth white finish, the top will need to be sanded and prepped first.

Same black top here. When I get a chance, my plan is to use P/U bed coat in white or very light grey if I can find it. Cost is going to be around $100-$120 if I do it myself. Much more durable than paint. Last year I got quotes from 2 local shops to paint it. They were $1100-$1250. ☹ If you're handy search around, Amazon.
Also, you don't need to go all the way out to the gutters.

+1 for paint. When I had my Jeep wrapped they couldn't wrap the fenders or the top because of the texture.
