Hard top storage and hoist?

Lowe’s had everything in store for what it is worth. The remote is threaded through a PVC round to square reducer and the cable/hook is through a server cable management cover.

I forgot to mention the doors are stored on O.R.C. 2x Hangers. The product is very good, but the company was less than stellar to work with.

Another option. I built this in 2007 when I bought my first JK and have been using it every year since without issue.

I now have 2 harkens hoist, 1 on each side. But 4 doors on the wall and 2 on ground are still my method for doors until I clear some more wall space.

Curious to see the responses here. I want to do the same thing but it seems to me that kind of weight on the support beams might pull down the roof lol

One time, with a top hanging from the hoist, I closed the knotted rope in the door of the S2000 and started to drive off . The rope left a dent in the car on the crease of the body and made a terribly loud noise on the way out. The top bounced all around and I thought it was all over. The top didn't fall, the house didn't fall down either. Screwed properly into the rafters you should be fine.
