Hey everyone.
I have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler that I bought new and I took my hardtop off for the first time today. Didn't get to last summer as I bought it after the warm weather had left. When I took the top off today I noticed both guide pins had somehow broken off. Not sure how this happened as I took all the bolts out and lifted straight up. I'm not sure if my warranty will cover them breaking, but my question is, if it doesn't, how important are these pins? Will the hardtop still seal when I put it back on?

In for an answer too.
When I removed my HT this spring, one of the locator pins/dowels snapped off. It was a clean break and I though about using some epoxy to glue it back on.

The pins are there to help locate the hardtop properly to then bolt it in. If you line up the bolt holes correctly that is all that matters. They do nothing to help hold the hardtop down.
This. Just make sure all the holes are lined up before tightening any of the bolts down hard. I use a Rollin' Jack to lift my top on/off, and I always go real slow and careful lifting it out and placing it back on, a lot of walking around making sure nothing is about to hit of is off.

What material is the black gasket? You can see here that it pulled some of it off. Will not having that small piece of gasket there hurt anything or is there something I could buy to replace that piece?

The gasket between the hard top and body is a cellular urethane with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive on one side.

Is there a place to order that? Sorry I’m new to the wrangler life.

No, the company that makes it does not sell to consumers. Best option would be to look for an equivalent that is available for purchase.
