Hey everyone,
I've had my Rubicon for three years now, and I absolutely love it—despite dealing with the usual set of issues along the way.
One problem that has recently worsened is a crack in the hardtop, right at the corner where the side panel meets the roof.
I've seen several discussions about this, but none seem to explain why it happens. It’s pretty clear that there’s little to no structural reinforcement between the side panels and the roof, which likely contributes to the issue.
I’m planning to get the crack repaired and, at the same time, reinforce the area with strengthening rods that will also be fibreglassed for added durability.
Has anyone else tackled this? Would love to hear your thoughts!
