Half doors ordering question...

So I'm configuring my 2dr Sport, 6spd, v6, soft top and want half doors with it. I was watching a YouTuber who said you can only get them IF you have power windows and locks?! Why would that matter when they have zipper windows! I don't want power windows with my normal doors, I just like hand crank ones. Is the YouTuber wrong? He seems pretty knowledgeable and owns a full garage of Jeeps and been wheeling for years.

The half doors I picked up where prepped with the full wiring harness and all the electronics (proximity unlock, and blind spot mirror). I think this is likely the upgrade config of the doors, but the wire harness is going to be there no matter what

So I went to build a Jeep and sure enough when you add half doors it automatically 'upgrades' you to power mirrors, locks w/ keyless entry, and windows. Dumb.
