They’re so nice, both his and the SoCal shop’s work.. Mopar is largely comprised of morons apparently
I had the opportunity to buy a set of doors for super cheap, but I wanted to verify the process on modifying half doors before making the purchase. I actually called the custom shop and was told it was a long and difficult process. Apparently the aluminum in the JL is super difficult to work with in regards to welding. They’re so nice, both his and the SoCal shop’s work.. Mopar is largely comprised of morons apparently
Unfortunately from what I've heard they don't seal well against water. I deal with swamps quite often so that's a deal breaker for me.For those looking for a middle ground for half doors, maybe give these a try..

We got ours done and they definitely change the look of the build! We made them lower so it’s arm rest height.
We made them in our shop @K5designsThose are really nice! Where did you have them done?
It’s pretty pricey but I did all the work so that cutdown on price. These turned out to be about what Mopar half doors are priced at normallyAlso, what did it end up costing you?
They look fantastic! Damn it been waiting since 2018 for half doors and looks like Jeep is in no hurry to offer them just keep teasing us with them on "concepts"... Half doors = what a Jeep should look like! Those are really nice! Where did you have them done?
Looking at about 5k$4-$5k?
I would say about 5kFor budgeting purpose, I really would love to know exact(ish) price and location to get these done.
Is that all in, or is that the work you do,,once a set of doors is delivered?I would say about 5k
